How can I get long hair and my hair to change color?

I have blonde short hair and want it longer and light light brown. I use Suave, White Rain, and V05 hair products only. The only results is that my hair grows 1 inch a YEAR not a month a YEAR! One YEAR only 1 INCH! It's SO blonde the yellow crayon is a PERFECT match! Any idea how to get long light brown hair? How can I get long hair and my hair to change color?
First and foremost you get what you paid for. Those products are that cheap for a reason.

1 of the reasons your hair isn't growing is because you may have done some damage to it with those shampoos and conditioners not providing the essential nutrients that your hair needs. You have to give your hair a break for a while and let it start to heal itself.

Before you color again try getting your ends trimmed and keeping your hair moisturized

Just remember chemical processes do a lot of damage to your hair in order to help it grow long but most importantly healthy you have to take care of it.How can I get long hair and my hair to change color?
I suggest you colour your hair professionally first, then either ask your hair dresser to find extensions for you to match your hair perfectly, get sewn-in ones or find some yourself.

I bought extensions myself and it wasn't a problem, most beauty supply stores should have them.

I got mine Sally Beauty Supply and the extensions were called Euronext. I liked them a lot! I can style them however I like and it came with strips of hair in case you choose to dye the extensions so you could test the colour first. They did have a scent though, wasn't too noticable but it never went away.

*Get real human hair! Its not as nasty as you might think.
theres no way it grows an inch a year;

you might be RETAINING one inch a year

and the rest is probably lost in breakage.

- drink 8 cups + of water

- take a multivitamin

- take biotin

- cut down on shampooing. 2x a week at most.

- deep condition weekly

- wash hair with water and conditioner only when youre not shampooing

- use a leave in conditioner after every wash [this can be your regular conditioner,

just use less and dont wash it out]

- use a protein treatment if necessary

- rinse hair after swimming

- try to wear your hair up and moisturized at least 30% of the time

- dont use heat styling tools [hair dryer, straightener, curling iron, hot comb, etc]

more than once a week.
take biotin pills. they're fine theyre like vitamins you can find them at walmart. i took them and my hair grew really fast but i ran out of them so i need to get more. your hair wont change colors by itself u needa dye it
condition your hair regularly. get regular trims to get old ends off.massage your scalp use shampoos made for long hair to get vitamens..also look into temporary dyes to change hair color.get semi permanent so it will wash out.

Just let your hair grow and look into hair dyes.
agreed with the person above me
die it and get instentions like miely cyrus and the reas of celebs
ok Don't get extensions like the stars they are more than $10,000.

the second thing is the products you are using are actually blocking your hair follicles so it will grow slower (suave, white rain and V05 have the same wax in it that floor polish does)

Try investing on salon products. If you want to color it please have it done by a salon or hair school. Any box color will only cause more breakage, dullness to your hair.

and also extensions destroy your hair I've been installing them for years and I know how bad they ruin the hair)

Also washing your hair only twice a week will cause it to be greasy oily and will NOT help maintain your length, I have dread locks and I wash them every other day.

PLease don't use a leave in conditioner in after every wash, sure if you want hair the consistency of hay. your hair needs to be clean not weighed down.

You may use any thermal styling tools if you use a heat protectant on it.

leave your hair down as much as possible, the more you wear it up the more breakage you will have.

A protein treatment is only for very damaged porous hair such as very very bleached blonde.

Also biotin does NOT make hair grow faster, thicker, or make you loose weight. If you want something to strengthen you hair please try the Paul Mitchell strength line. make sure you get most of the product rinsed out of your hair to encourage clean follicles!

As a professional Stylist I recommend you shampoo your hair daily with the super strong shampoo, condition with the strength conditioner and then while your hair is damp spray on the super strength spray, at paul mitchell they call it hair in a bottle.
