I have l fine,long hair with an oily scalp, What products should I use to get sleek looking hair?

My hair is quite long, and VERY VERY tangle prone with dry ends. However the roots get greasy very fast (one day). I wash hair every other day. Oh and the only product I use currently is a detangler on the mid and end sections of hair(otherwise it takes forever to comb through), any suggestions of styling advice or product use is much appreciated!
