How do I hide long hair under a short wig?

I have pretty long hair (my lower back) and its really frizzy. I wanted to know a good way to hide my hair when i wear a cosplay wig without the wig looking too bumped up or mishapen. Any Ideas?How do I hide long hair under a short wig?
I would either put it up in a bun then stick your wig over it or if that looks to bumpy and doesnt work i would just lay your hair flat on your head and try to clip/pin it up.How do I hide long hair under a short wig?
There's the way one friend used. She took each strand, curled it up against her head, and pinned it down. It made her usually wild, long, and frizzy hair look very flat. She then put a wig cap over it.
