What are some styles for long hair that I can try. My hair is just past my shoulders?

My hair is just past my shoulders. I'm still growing it out I just want a bit more style to it. I'm thinking layers of some sort.What are some styles for long hair that I can try. My hair is just past my shoulders?
adding some layers will give your hair a lot more style to it trust me. Once you do the layers you could blow dry it so that it flips out or you could make the ends curl under instead. %26amp; if you have long layers put in you'll still be able to pull your hair back when you want.

layer that looks great the other day we went to wal mart and there is a magazinea had this hair cut in around three layer it look great and it was long layer to her shoulder and the color was so nice it was light brown with a light of red it so nice layer hair always .looks great if your old or young . like the say goes if your hair don';t look goo you ddon' t feel

Tell your hairdresser to give you long, angular layers graduated from the cheekbone. It's a very versatile style that will let you put it up or leave it down and it'll look great no matter what!! Or you could find a pic online of a celebrity with the same length hair as you, and bring the picture to have it copied. Layers look awesome and give you more body.Just promise me something.....never put it in a ';messy ponytail';.That's just laziness.
You could do any style, ponytail, bun, etc. If it's cut straight across then I think layers would be better.
