What is an easy hairstyle for long hair with quite a few long layers?

My hair is long (about mid-back) and is straight. I have quite a few layers cut into it, (mostly longer layers) and I am looking for a quick and easy hairstyle that i can use tonight! ( I have to leave in about an hour.) Also, I'd like to wear my hair down; this is a casual event and I don't need to do anything too fancy, just casual and cute. Any ideas? What is an easy hairstyle for long hair with quite a few long layers?
Maybe you can leave it down and put a hump on top to add a little something to it.What is an easy hairstyle for long hair with quite a few long layers?
take a curling iron, any size, and curl as much hair as possible as if your going to flip it out, and curl it up about about 3/4 of the way. This sounds nuts but then let it out, it will curl in different directions and you will be able to see the layers. I alternate curling out and curling under so it has a little more volume. Other suggestion is hot rollers.
For the latest modern, great looking hairstyles, either velcro or plastic rollers work the best. Also, its better for your hair, the style lasts longer and you can style it in different ways. This yahoo group has tons of pictures of the latest hairstyles. It takes a little patience because there are so many pictures to view. It might be of help. The link to click on is below.

use a flat-iron to flip out the ends of each layer, then spray with hairspray. you can also get a similar effect by using a curling iron, but i like the way flipping ends out with a flat-iron looks better.
Hot rollers can give you a nice look- they really don't take too long just pop them in while you are applying make-up. You could just curl ends with a curling iron and apply a bit of hair wax to the tips- that is fast and edgy.
