Do not brush your hair while it is wet. Hair is the most prone to stretching and breaking while it is wet.

After you shampoo, apply conditioner %26amp; then gently comb out your hair with a wide tooth comb before your rinse out the conditioner. Run water through your hair gently - don't swirl it %26amp; twist it. Then gently gather sections to squeeze out the water.

Use a super absorbent microfiber towel to press the remaining moisture in your hair after you get out of the shower. Spray on a leave in conditioner %26amp; comb out your hair again w/ a wide tooth comb if necessary. Start at the bottom %26amp; work your way upwards to remove any tangles.

The microfiber towel is more absorbent than a conventional terry cloth towel so it will help your hair air dry faster.

Only brush your hair while it is dry %26amp; use brushes w/ smooth tipped bristles that are widely spaced to avoid tearing your hair.

Since you have such long hair - avoid styles that pull your hair tight. Use smooth hair elastics and barrettes.

If you put your hair up, make sure to use enough pins to support the style so the weight of the bun, twisted braid, etc. doesn't pull on the roots. How to keep long hair from breaking and getting split ends?
Try Rusk smoother conditioner. Its a leave in conditioner. Ive never used a leave in conditioner thinking they would be oily, this is definitely light. I love it!. It can be found at most salons.

trimming every six weeks should prevent split ends
try to oil it and wear a scarf over your hair to prevent breakage
Cut it short and let it grow again.
Brush your hair with a wide tooth comb, braid your hair at night, and try not to blow dry, straighten, or curl your hair. Hope this helps!
get ur ends done every three months and use alot of conditioner dont use alot of heat tools
i heard if you put avocado's and mayonnaise in your hair it gets rid of it and makes your hair shiny.
